Did you know that you are carrying a 3D magnetometer? That you can use your phone as a pendulum to measure earth\'s local gravitational acceleration? That you can turn your phone into a sonar?

phyphox gives you access to the sensors of your phone either directly or through ready-to-play experiments which analyze your data and let you export raw data along with the results for further analysis. You can even define your own experiments on phyphox.org and share them with colleagues, students and friends.

Selected Features:
- A selection of pre-defined experiments. Just press play to start.
- Export your data to a range of widely used formats
- Remote-control your experiment through a web interface from any PC on the same network as your phone. No need to install anything on those PCs - all you need is a modern web browser.
- Define your own experiments by selecting sensor inputs, defining analysis steps and creating views as an interface using our web-editor (http://phyphox.org/editor). The analysis can consists of just adding two values or using advanced methods like Fourier transforms and crosscorrelation. We offer a whole toolbox of analysis functions.

- Light intensity
- Pressure
- Microphone
- Proximity
- GPS
- Camera
- LiDAR/ToF
*some sensors are not present on every phone.

Explanation for the permissions requested

If you have Android 6.0 or newer, some permissions will only be asked for when needed.

Internet: This grants phyphox network access, which is required to load experiments from online resources or when using the remote access. Both are only done when requested by the user and no other data is transmitted.
Bluetooth: Used to access external sensors.
Read external storage: This is may be necessary when opening an experiment stored on the device.
Record audio: Required to use the microphone in experiments.
Location: Used to access GPS for location-based experiments.
Camera: Used to scan QR codes for external experiment configurations.

Wist je dat je een 3D-magnetometer draagt? Dat u uw telefoon als een slinger kunt gebruiken om de lokale zwaarteveldsterkte van de aarde te meten? Dat je van je smartphone een sonar kunt maken?

phyphox geeft je toegang tot de sensoren van je smartphone , hetzij direct, hetzij via kant-en-klare experimenten die je data analyseren en waarmee je onbewerkte data samen met de resultaten kunt exporteren voor verdere analyse. U kunt zelfs uw eigen experimenten naar phyphox.org uploaden en deze met collega's, studenten en vrienden delen.

Mogelijke functies:
- Een selectie van vooraf opgezette experimenten. Druk gewoon op play om te starten.
- Exporteer uw gegevens naar veelgebruikte bestandsindelingen
- Beheer op afstand uw experiment via een webinterface vanaf elke pc in hetzelfde netwerk als uw smartphone. U hoeft niets op die pc's te installeren - u hebt alleen een moderne webbrowser nodig.
- Creëer met behulp van onze web-editor (http://phyphox.org/editor) uw eigen experimenten door meting via een gekozen sensor, analysestappen te bepalen en views te maken als interface. De analyse kan bestaan uit het toevoegen van slechts twee waarden of het gebruik van geavanceerde methoden zoals Fourier-transformaties en crosscorrelatie. We bieden een hele toolbox met analysefuncties.

Uitleg voor de gevraagde toestemmingen

Als je Android 6.0 of hoger hebt, worden sommige toestemmingen alleen gevraagd als dat nodig is.

Internet: hiermee krijgt u phyphox-netwerktoegang, die nodig is om experimenten van online bronnen te laden of wanneer u de externe toegang gebruikt. Beide worden alleen gedaan op verzoek van de gebruiker en er worden geen andere gegevens verzonden.
Bluetooth: wordt gebruikt voor toegang tot externe sensoren.
Externe opslag lezen: dit kan nodig zijn bij het openen van een experiment dat op de smartphone is opgeslagen.
Audio opnemen: vereist om de microfoon in experimenten te gebruiken.
Locatie: wordt gebruikt voor toegang tot GPS voor locatiegebaseerde experimenten.
